Another Day In the Neighborhood
Wow 2011 What changes it brings to my life i look back over the years since i started playing Sims 1 and then on to Sims 2 and that followed by Sims 3. I have to admit i do not play it as much as I once did I do miss it I just do not have as much time to play.
I am still working with Parrot Rescue I work with 4 area rescues networking to see to it people get the help they need if we can not help we try our best to find it for them.
It is really great when you have groups working together i hate to see so many judged and attacked when in reality we are all doing the same thing helping parrots and their owners. I am Very Happy to be in a great network that helps so many.
I have also joined a great Church called FCF and it is a great place with a really wonderful band. I started going with a dear friend who i have known for yars and well i never stopped going. It is just a really great place with a really great message So if you ever come to Frederick MD swing by for a visit.
I also have decided to return to school. While at this time i am not able to work and in all honesty am unsure if i can do classes what better way to find out than to try to improve my education.
I would like to become a addictions Counselor. As i said i am unsure if i can do it. I have a great advisor and she and i already decided that slow and steady will win the race :0)
This year was a busy traveling year so far i took my first Plane trip in February. I spent a little over 2 weeks in Florida with a dear friend and had a wonderful time enjoying beautiful weather and great company exploring her town was great and I could so see me living in a place like that. She also had great birds her conure tells you he loves you and also meows and says here kitty kitty So cute.
I also have my yearly trip in May coming up I can not wait to see everyone and spend some time with my best friend Christine. She is an Amazing friend and we will have a wonderful time on the drive down and back and while there. i look forward to visiting with everyone and heading to the beach. I am sad that my beach buddy Sara will not be coming this year She will be working. So beach time may be limited.
Another great change i am working on getting into a new Pain Managment clinic.I am So hoping this goes well. I am sick of the clinic i am going to at this time The Doctor is a complete QUACK He knows what he can get away with and every now and then he slips and I have filed a couple complaints that have actually gotten me nothing but them retaliating against me and treating me poorly. I know many who have wanted to speak up but have not for fear of the retaliation so well it is better i get out of there I just have a real issue letting people just walk ove my rights and demanding i do things but then they not do their part. Lask of respect and consideration goes a long way in my eyes.

is my newest Rescue Pancho. He is a 25 plus year old wild caught Blue Front Amazon who dislikes women. Yea i know talk about taking on a task. We are bonding though and I really do love this silly bird.

Today i Quit Smoking

After all these years of smoking every day. From the age of 12 till today at age 43. Wow long time lots of money spent. I have decided due to on going health issues, the fact that my youngest son does not like the smell, and the fact I am tired of not being able to breath I will Stop Smoking.
I found a program here in Maryland that offers support as well as Free patches
So I called and they sent them and I smoked my last pack yesterday.
