Another Day In the Neighborhood
Well Another Birthday passes.I am now 45 Oh Whoopee LOL
I had a great day though a friend took me to dinner at Red Lobster and woke me up with flowers. i also got a sweet little doggy key chain. I got two little dog
statues one is really old. I collect doggies. My Aunt also took me to both dinner and breakfast on another day. It is so great having family ties again. She is
the only one that Really contacts me and does things with me. i have reached out to the others with no return contact so I am not pressed on it Heck I lived
without Any family from 17 until 42 So i am sure i will be just fine
So i am thankful for another year here on earth i am Thankful to now be in recovery and celebrating LIFE and no longer celebrating attempting to kill myself.
I have looked in to writing classes and also am considering doing some volunteer work as well. Not sure just what I want to do yet though.
I have been attending Bible study and met some great ladies who I enjoy spending time with.
Still looking for that Church that "fits" I do not have a lot of money to buy "church" clothes. I know some places allow you to come in day
to day clothing without anything special I just want to give God respect in his home if that makes sense. It was how I was raised. I also have limited
transportation so need to make sure to attend where i have a ride to get to it.
I feel better than I have in a long time. i have my pain issues still but the meds I am now on are working to the extent i can function a good bit i still have
some pain But the meds make me able to deal with it for the most part.
My little birds had three female babies. Two are off in their new homes the last will be leaving next Tuesday. She is a Velcro birdy. Oh my heavens this bird
is so sweet and wants to snuggle with you all the time.
I hear from the other two birds new Mom's and they are both Thrilled with their new babies. I plan on letting Brooklyn and Libby have one last clutch this
year So that they only have 2 a year. I already have two people willing to wait to get a baby One met the oldest who a friend has and the other wanted one of
these but was to late.
It is so hard to say good bye though to the babies when they leave.
The best thing is that this one baby already likes Simming

Today i Quit Smoking

After all these years of smoking every day. From the age of 12 till today at age 43. Wow long time lots of money spent. I have decided due to on going health issues, the fact that my youngest son does not like the smell, and the fact I am tired of not being able to breath I will Stop Smoking.
I found a program here in Maryland that offers support as well as Free patches
So I called and they sent them and I smoked my last pack yesterday.
So today is my first day using the... -
